  • HERE City and Country Maps

    Just gone through Newly released Nokia Maps – “HERE”.

     

    Interface is really smooth and easy, doesn’t take long time to load long list of data like Google Maps. Sounds like Nokia Competing with Google ?

    Not really, currently HERE is having City and Countries Maps available. Where as Google uses Google Places Data in Maps, that make it bulky in loading heavy Information.

    For simple & Smooth UI (at least on my screen), I’ll prefer for routing locations & some Map scientist features available in HERE Preferences.

    Looks promising, Supports on various Devices.

  • Orkut Promote – To promote Google Ads

    Orkut still being in Top in Indian (internet) social Networking market. Social media marketers using Orkut widely for domestic products promotion. Months back Orkut introduce a promote feature. Official release post on blog had a great video guide (can be seen below).

    This is a good feature very much similar to twitter or facebook time-line, but the chances of promotional campaign visibility are more as compared to any other. Although its really a good effort of Architectural team to promote the Google Ads Banner location. After all Promotion box is replaced with Google ads after some views to promotions. Hats off to Strategy Peoples !!

    Its all about the Cookies set by the Double click ads to the visitors. All you have to mention is that

    After unleashing my quickly approving directory list, I concentrated more on directory business. Its good and growing like a fire. Here’s my little guide to get started with these directories.

    Directory biz is easy to setup. Little requirement and you biz is on !! you need a good host to setup your directory as directories needs good up-time and bandwidth. choose your Web-host wisely. Directory can be General or niche based. Both type of directories works at best. TLD and subdomain affects at some extent, better have a Top level domain. At last you need a directory script to set your directory. phpld, Esyndicate, phplynx are the great scripts with the paid and free both versions. Installation of these scripts are simpler than any other ever seen. Once installed just have some nice template that suites the directory niche. set the category and mailer of your directories. there are many pre made category dumps out over the web.     This may not be new for many surfers, but its for me!! Just trying to check my Sify account (around after a year. hardly uses it) I thought i may need to re activate my account !! but what I saw was never dreamed !! Googles Policy page! Later on redirected to Google Sify Partner page

  • Check Mobile Look of your Site

    Number of Mobile Surfers are growing highly( If not at list I am one of them). Opera , Teashark, fennec are few great browsers makes you feel good when you visit the site from Mobile. But never Imagined about the simple browser. Do check your site with Simpler mobile browser.

  • Google PageRank Update !!

    A Good News !! Another Step ahead for this blog since its live on the web. Yesterday PR update reflects were seen. I found this blog to be PR 3. Happy with What happen in short period. just 5000 unique hits and 13000 page hits Per Month is the Great achievement !!
    Not the less Technorati Ranking is also improved its now under 1 lakh. its 72,043 🙂

    So over all i think this blog had some existence in Web World !!

  • Google does not serve more than 1000 results for any query

    This may not be new for you people but its new for me. Whenever you Search some stuff in google. its comes back with a Huge number (I am poor in maths to count that number). I searched for my name ” Abhishek ”

    Query : https://www.google.co.in/search?hl=en&q=Abhishek

    Result is in Image.

    The Big Number 4,730,000. Now I want to see 1000 Result so I add &num=100&start=990 To the query.

    So Query is

    and the output as follows.


    Hell !! only 1000 Search Results are available then why show a big number 4,730,000 . Is that sort of method to make people feel like we cawl the whole web?? why so Dear google ??
