Exam of Rs. 560 Crore !!

WOO!! Rs. 560 crore is a big amount. This exam was conducted by the State Bank of India; the opportunity was for youngsters to enter the government banking sector. There are a total of 20,000 openings with a starting package of Rs. 1,68,000. A total of 2 crore 24 lakh youngsters appeared for the exam. That’s all from Tarun Bharat. Tarun Bharat Cutting

The salary for 20,000 clerks for a year comes to Rs. 336 crore. Still, a huge amount remains with the bank (I could spend my life happily on the interest from that amount)!!

How did the news reporter count Rs. 560 crore??

The exam fee was Rs. 250 and the total number who appeared was 2 crore 24 lakh, so the product comes to Rs. 560 crore!! But dear sir (Chota Muh aur Badi Baat), this is India, and there is inequality. A huge number of youngsters appeared for the exam (including me), but how many of them were SC/ST/NT/OBC/General? SC/ST and some other caste candidates had an exam fee of only Rs. 50. So Rs. 560 crore is not possible. Perhaps this reporter counts his whole salary without DA/TA/HRA/PF. Some constraints should always be considered when writing on the front page of print media!!
